'Warmth and Beauty'

The HR* produces a beautiful warm sound with free blowing ease. This Hard Rubber Saxophone Mouthpiece features a round, medium size chamber. The HR* is suited for Traditional Jazz, Big Band, Straight-Ahead and Bebop, and helps the player blend in with a section, but also has enough power for more modern styles. The mouthpiece comes with a deluxe mouthpiece pouch. The HR* does not come with a ligature and cap.

The DV mouthpiece is constructed based on 'Golden Section' proportions. There are more harmonics present in the sound and therefore the projection of this mouthpiece is huge. It lacks the annoying shrillness that is associated with loud bright mouthpieces and instead possesses exceptional midrange and bottom end that has never been present before in a metal saxophone mouthpiece with strong projection. The DV NY produces a darker, less bright tone than the more contemporary sound of the DV. The deep baffle/chamber design of the DV NY produces a beautiful Classic Jazz sound reminiscent of the masters of the 50’s and 60’s. While having slightly more resistance than the DV, the DV NY is considered a very free blowing saxophone mouthpiece. The mouthpiece comes with a Deluxe Rovner (Dark) Ligature, Cap, Mouthpiece Pouch and special Wood Cylinder case.

The JodyJazz Clarinet Mouthpiece has a deep, dark, woody clarinet sound. A centered sound is produced from this mouthpiece with excellent projection. Intonation is flawless throughout the range of the clarinet.

It is best for Concert Band, Orchestra and Classical music settings in closed facings, (2-4) and in the more open facings, (5-8) it is the perfect for playing Jazz Clarinet because of the increased projection that an open mouthpiece can produce with a softer reed.
